We believe creativity is one of the most fundamental human capacities. Long before it became associated with art, it helped us solve problems, build communities and imagine better futures. It isn't reserved for a talented few, it's part of being human.
Creativity isn't a profession. It's the ability to imagine, adapt and create something that didn't exist before.
Whether you're writing a song, leading a team, raising a family or solving a difficult problem, you're using the same human capacity.
Our role isn't to teach people to become artists, it's to help them rediscover that they already are creative.
The strongest relationships aren't built through information alone, they're built through shared experiences.
When people create together, barriers disappear, conversations become more honest and trust grows naturally.
Connection isn't a by-product of creativity, it's one of its greatest outcomes.
Every act of creation shows us that we are capable of learning, adapting and becoming something more than we were yesterday.
Confidence grows through expression.
Resilience grows through curiosity.
Change grows through experience.
Real transformation isn't delivered to people, it's discovered by them.
Every organisation, community and family is shaped by the quality of the relationships within it.
Healthy cultures aren't built through policies alone.
They're built through thousands of moments of trust, collaboration, imagination and shared purpose.
Change the way people connect, and you change the culture they create together.
Every Evoke session follows a clear arc. Participants begin by tuning in to themselves, use creativity to explore and express what they find, then have the opportunity to share it with others. Connection runs through the process: first within, then between people.
We begin by guiding participants into a state of exploration and awareness. Grounding techniques and reflection help participants recognise how they feel and explore what may be behind it, without pressure to explain themselves or arrive at the “right” answer - the backbone of real creative exploration.
The foundationCreative prompts give participants a way to work with what they have noticed. Through layers of exploratory prompts that trigger new pathways and conceptual connections, feelings and ideas can become something tangible - something they can explore, shape and make their own.
The practiceParticipants are invited to share what they have made, if they choose. As people listen to one another’s perspectives, individual expression can become a starting point for empathy, recognition and deeper connection across the group.
The shared experienceThe journey moves from understanding yourself, to expressing yourself, to being understood by, and understanding, others.

StoryAcross finance, healthcare, tech, PR, and community programmes - the response is consistent. Something shifts in the room that people struggle to find anywhere else.
Yesterday I did something I haven't done for around 30 years - I wrote a piece of creative writing that wasn't work related. It was about me and my feelings. And it was such a powerful and enlightening process. There were tears and applause for everyone in the group and it was an honour for people to listen and share their own thoughts.
I would highly recommend Evoke: Creative Wellness for your company, your team or for your community group or charity. Sami Chokri, Cameron Bloomfield and their team really enabled powerful thoughts.
We were welcomed on the day by Cameron Bloomfield and Sami Chokri from Evoke: Creative Wellness who delivered a bespoke session for nurses on using creativity for wellbeing (and stayed around to help with our Awards also!)
I cautioned Cameron and Sami that the audience might be hesitant to share their creative writing at the end. However, they created such a safe and engaging environment that I was genuinely moved by the number of poems our nurses shared, reflecting deeply on their personal and professional experiences. Thank you again Evoke!
I had the chance to experience one of these workshops myself, and it was incredible. Not only did it help me reconnect with my own creative spirit, but I also witnessed the power of spoken word and music to bring people together and create meaningful release.
So, whether you're looking to support your team, your community, or even yourself, I highly recommend you make creativity and human connection the focus this season.
If you had told me a month ago that I'd be spending my morning using poetry to reset for the year ahead, I wouldn't have believed you. Yet, the impact was profound. There was a raw, beautiful vulnerability in the room-my own tears included-as we used the power of words to refocus. Led by the incredible Sami, Kam, and Wez, the session was a powerful blend of reflection, wellbeing tools, and creative writing.
They calmly and kindly guided us through a writing workshop that brought out vulnerability and creativity from the deepest places. I don't mean that to sound cringy but there were people in the room who professed not to have a creative bone in their bodies who ended up sharing writings so beautiful that we were all in tears. It was very powerful.
It was a really excellent event, something that would really work as a team building exercise where you can humanise relationships with colleagues without excluding anyone and allowing people to be in charge of their own boundaries.
